Meet Dr. Kaylor

Dr. Laura Kaylor received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1992 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and is a member of both the American Veterinary Association and the Forsyth County Veterinary Medical Association. She has actively practiced veterinary medicine since her graduation and has been comforting, treating, and restoring the health of her patients as the owner of Arcadia Veterinary Hospital since 2000.

Equipping her practice with leading-edge technologies has allowed Dr. Kaylor to remain in the forefront of veterinary medicine and made it possible to offer more to her patients and their owners. "Reinvesting in my practice has always made sense to me. That's why we decided to purchase the Digital Radiology equipment. Being able to provide more advanced veterinary medical care reinforces the capabilities of the hospital, while benefiting my clients and their pets at the same time."

When not treating patients, Dr. Kaylor is an active member of the community as a sponsor for student senior projects, church fund drives, and local charity events. Her life-long passion for animals also extends into equestrian events where she actively participates in horse shows and classes. She shares her farm with her husband and two daughters as well as three horses, two dogs and several cats.

If you’re on the corner of Old Salisbury Road/Hickory Tree Road and Hwy 150 South, stop by and meet Dr. Kaylor and her staff. Donations of cookies and chocolate are welcome there anytime too! (For the staff, not the patients!)
